South East AGM - Olympic bid talk

9 March 2006


The branch AGM took place on 9 March at Franklin & Andrews offices. Following which Andrew Williams the managing director of Franklin & Andrews talked about his work and experiences as a member of the London 2012 Olympic bid team. He worked as a close member of the team and went to Singapore for the vote.

He clearly worked extremely hard but quite obviously had an experience which he will never forget. Working as part of the team he emphasised the need for committed team work, meticulous preparation and a clear goal. It obviously worked for the London bid team. The evening was rounded off with an opportunity for networking over drinks and canapés.
