Title: Annual Cocktail Party 2004

Over 150 people attended the Cocktail Party held by the Association of Women in Property’s Central Scotland branch this month at Glasgow’s latest hip venue, Oran Mor. Guests from across the Property and Construction industry came to mark the appointment of Brenda Jones as the branch Chairman for 2004/05.

Brenda, a chartered surveyor, told guests “Our industry faces significant challenges but it still provides a wide range of fantastic career opportunities. No project is the same and what we do has an impact on the whole population.”

The event was sponsored by Bovis Lend Lease Scotland. Bovis has an impressive record of employing women, who represent 30% of its graduate trainees.
