Title: Creative Writing Seminars

A total of 40 people attended our two Creative Writing for Business Seminars in August and September. Business copywriter Stuart Delves, of Henzteeth, led a very interesting workshop. Everyone had to get involved and tell stories about two very familiar words: our own names. The exercise of thinking about communication, telling stories, and building relationships was both fun and thought-provoking.

Many thanks to Stuart for sharing his time and expertise with us. Thanks also to Mactaggart and Mickel (Glasgow) and Coevolution (Edinburgh) for providing the venues.

Feedback and photographs from the Edinburgh seminar:

“I enjoyed my evening yesterday - will endeavour to produce ‘creative writing’ from now on”

“I really enjoyed yesterday’s workshop – I have been discussing the importance of ‘thinking about’ writing with my colleagues this morning and hope that I can keep the story telling principle in my mind when approaching written tasks from now on!”

“Thanks for organising last night's event, it was really worthwhile and I enjoyed it.”

“I did enjoy the event...it was certainly something a bit different and got me thinking

“Thoroughly enjoyed the event on Tuesday and thought it worked very well from a networking perspective”
