Title: Site Visit - City Lofts, Sheffield

Another successful Sheffield event was held with an extremely interesting site visit to the 'City Lofts' mixed-use development in Millennium Square Sheffield.

The event was well attended and Project Manager Jon and his team gave us an exciting tour of the building, including a 'ride' in the site hoist up to the fourteenth floor then up to the 17th floor to see how the structure was shaping up - there will 32 floors or apartments in total - the tallest building in Sheffield we were told.

Jon explained, and we also saw, waiting to be installed, bathroom and kitchen pods - all the way from Italy - complete with wall and floor tiles, lighting, sanitary ware, mirrors and all the kitchen appliances - extremely stylish and cost effective - with no snagging required.

Our sincere thanks to Amanda Roberts, Business Development Coordinator for Shepherd for organising the tour for us and providing some delicious canapés and drinks after the tour - also we would like to thank Jon Mangham - Project Manager for his time and an informative presentation.
