Title: SITE VISIT to SHINE HAREHILLS
The Yorkshire and North East branch of the Association of Women in Property (WIP) teamed up with Camberwell to host a networking event at Leeds’ newest social enterprise development.
The event at Shine, Harehills, was held on Wednesday 10th September, the evening started with networking and drinks followed by a presentation by Chrissie Slater and Raina Parmer from the Camberwell team, we then had a guided tour of the fabulous new facilities.
The Victorian Grade-II-listed former Harehills Middle School has been transformed into a £4.5m 36,000 sq ft landmark centre combining pay-as-you-go business accommodation catering for fast-growth and new-start companies, alongside fully-serviced, high-spec offices for established businesses.
Shine also provides conference facilities, a restaurant and a gym and will act as a spur for further inward investment into the local area.
Michaela Graham, the event organiser for WIP, said: “We were delighted to join forces with the Camberwell to offer our members the opportunity to see social enterprise at work and network in a friendly and informal environment.”
