Title: Post Event Write-up Peninsula Square & The O2 Barr Gazetas
Members and guests joined Barr Gazetas and the Laing for a presentation about the ongoing development of North Greenwich and its transformation from an industrial waste and landfill occupied site through its rebirth as the Millennium Dome and now its ongoing transformation into the O2; a landmark and state of the art entertainment and leisure venue within a significant residential and community hub.
The groups set off on guided tours around Peninsula Square with the extremely knowledgeable Barr Gazetas’ team highlighting the facts, figures and history of the design and layout of the Square.
Following the tour, we all retired to the restaurant for delicious canapés and drinks, where we enjoyed several more hours of catching up with old friends and making new ones.
