Title: Annual Charity Ball (event report)

This year we held our charity ball at The Queens Hotel in Leeds, which was sponsored by Rotary Yorkshire, who are a firm of contractors based in Leeds, the charity we supported this year was the McMillan Cancer Support. We have 120 guests at the event held in the ‘Palm Room’ we started the proceedings with a few words from myself about WiP and our forthcoming events, A representative from both Rotary and McMillan both did a brief talk about their organisations. The food was then served, after the meal we drew the raffle, with the top prize being auctioned off. Once all the formality was over we handed the night over to the band and DJ, and the dancing guests. The evening was a great success we raised £3,000.00 for the McMillan Cancer Support, the cheque was presented at the Birthday launch party.
