Title: 20th Birthday Awards ceremony

Around 50 Women in Property members and guests gathered at Pincent Masons office in Leeds, for the presentation of our regions 20th birthday student awards.

We all took our places in the lecture theatre, where Cathy Stewart started proceedings by welcoming everyone and introducing the award to our guests. Mark Owen from Pinsent Masons then took the floor to welcome women in property to their offices and expressed their great support for our association.

Jean Dent then spoke about her own experiences of climbing the ladder in the property world, which was very interesting and entertaining. She then introduced each student to the audience, before presenting the award to our much deserved winner – Vicki Lavender, a Town Planner from Newcastle University.

Everyone then moved into the ‘glass room’ for the buffet, drinks and networking, which was a great opportunity for all the students to meet our members and guests.
