Title: Spa Event, Mar Hall

The Rolls Royce and Bentley parked outside Mar Hall set the tone for the networking event, even before we were shown through the Grand Hall to the Burgundy Suite, at this magnificent Hotel & Spa.

Lesley Wallace of Wallace Interiors gave an informative description of this project, which involved bringing the grand interiors of the hotel back to life, after its days as a hospital were over. She answered questions from our guests, who ranged from Property Lawyers to Interior Designers.

The group experienced a stylish afternoon tea, spa treatments and guided tours of the hotel, including the individually designed bedrooms. The afternoon was very civilised and the icing on the cream cake were sightings of Marti Pellow of Wet Wet Wet fame!! Only one of our members was brave enough to speak to him but all seemed to enjoy the chance to rub shoulders with celebrities. The afternoon provided the opportunity for our guests to form new connections, enjoy the wonderful surroundings and be inspired by the interior designs.

The event was a success and we thank all those who attended.
