Over 40 members and their guests attended an evening at The Energy Clinic on Commercial Street, E1. The evening started with a meet and greet session with drinks, while members and guests were taken for guided meditation massages with Chinese hammers - not as painful as it sounds!
A session on Chinese vocal exercises took everyone by surprise, but inhibitions were soon shed and the room was filled with the fantastic sound of 40 women chanting in harmony with their arms akimbo. If only we had pictures!
The evening progressed with a fascinating presentation on the ancient Chinese science of reading people's faces, where, amongst other things, we were shown how to tell if someone was a slow or quick thinker and how they were with their money. After the presentation, massages continued in a separate room while members and guests sipped Chinese teas and enjoyed delicious canapés and nibbles. A relaxing time was had by all and we hear that a number of ladies are feeling a definite increase in their energy levels today - perhaps the Chinese vocal exercises worked their magic?
