Title: Networking Lunch/Jive Mentoring News
Due to the great success of the last networking lunch held at 3 Albion Place in central Leeds back in April, the Yorkshire and North East Branch recently hosted another lunch at this historic venue.
3 Albion Place is a unique building located in the heart of Leeds and home to the New Yorkshire Club. Enjoying a delicious lunch and networking, the event attracted over 30 women including both members and non-members.
As part of the event there was also a brief talk by Jacki Mason from JIVE Mentoring. Mentoring is tool which has been proven to successfully support women with a range for issues including career planning, progression, reducing isolation, networking, work/life balance and the development of new skills.
Following successful JIVE mentoring pilots in the South East, Midlands and Central Scottish branches of Women in Property, we hope to gain enough interest from our members to set up a mentoring programme in Yorkshire and the North East very shortly.
