Sam will open up both her shops – clothes and accessories – exclusively for Women in Property, and will be on hand to advise and guide you through your new Autumn/Winter wardrobe. There will be no hard sell, and you will not be obliged to buy anything, however Sam’s stock is hugely diverse, and there is truly something for all styles and budgets.
We will be provided with drinks, discount vouchers and goody bags, as well as a chance to catch up with each other! Optional dinner afterwards will be at Howies on Alva Street.Spaces for this event will be limited so please book early to secure your place. With 250 yachts and upwards of 3000 participants it is the industry's top social and sporting event, which annually raises upwards of £150,000 for various sailing charities For the fifth consecutive year, the Association of Women in Property is entering a yacht in this prestigious event.

Andrea Nolan E-mail: andrea.nolan@gpplantscape.com | | 17/09 | Site Visit: University of Edinburgh, Potterrow (Central Scotland)The Central Scotland Branch of Women in Property has an opportunity to visit the recently completed University of Edinburgh buildings at Potterrow. Architects Bennetts Associates will lead a tour of the building, followed by a presentation and networking buffet at their offices.
The new buildings – the Informatics Forum and the Dugald Stewart Building – are the first phase of development on the site. The University has now started the process of raising finance for the second phase and the completed courtyard. A future masterplan exists for the area north of the site. The Informatics Forum will hold the University’s School of Informatics, one of the top four in the world for computer science and related research. The Dugald Stewart Building will hold the School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences.
Bennetts Associates Architects will talk us through the design and build of this project. Design work started in 2003 and planning approval was gained in 2004. Bennetts Associates have since taken the first phase to completion.

The evening will include: a brief presentation speech from gemmologist and co-owner Gaynor Turner, fine fizz and finger food, the “Red Carpet” corner, a free jewellery cleaning service, prize raffle, lucky dip and a goody bag for all.
Macintyres is Scotland’s largest wholesale jewellers with a showroom featuring the Diamond Dome, where you can judge the true quality of diamonds in natural light. The friendly and experienced staff includes qualified gemmologists and diamond graders.
